Knife Angel Photography Competition!

Thank You for Over 100 Entries to the Knife Angel Photography Competition! 📸🕊️

Throughout June, we invited local budding photographers to take part in a photography competition celebrating the powerful presence of the Knife Angel in Newton Aycliffe. Run in partnership with Newton News, the competition encouraged people to capture the sculpture in their own creative way.

We were overwhelmed by the response — with over 100 stunning entries, it was no easy task to choose the winners. Every photo contributed to the interactive experience of the Angel's time here, adding depth, meaning, and community engagement to its powerful message.

A big thank you to Anything Aycliffe, our local residents' page, for generously donating the cash prizes.
